Welcome, and thanks for stopping by! I'm based in the Washington, DC area, but my journey started in Karachi, Pakistan, where I was born to American and Pakistani parents. My love for travel began early–by the time I was 8 months old, I was already navigating cross-continental flights! Now, as a mother of two teenagers, my husband and I have made it a mission to explore the world together.

With 38 countries (and counting) under my belt, I created Trace, Space & Place to share my favorite travel moments, hidden gems, and unforgettable experiences. Sure, we all love a stay at a fabulous luxury resort, but the real magic happens when someone guides you to the best places to stay, the must-try restaurants, and the perfect rooftop for sunset drinks.
